At Maui Kayak Shop, we make every effort to provide you with the lowest prices, while adhering to our manufacturer’s minimum retail pricing. All prices and descriptions listed are subject to change without notice. Any product may be removed from current sale at any time. We strive to provide the most accurate information to our customers. Typographic or photographic errors are subject to correction.

Maui Kayak Shop reserves the right to refuse fulfilment of a product transaction in respect to any product or quantity of products, based solely on its own discretion and in accordance with all UAE laws. This right shall exist at all times; even after an order confirmation has been placed. This restriction is subject to change without prior notice under the sole discretion of Maui Kayak Shop.

OUT OF STOCK PRODUCTS

If delivery time is critical and you need to be 100% sure we can ship an item immediately, please contact us first. We do not always know the inventory status in our warehouse or of our suppliers until a product is ordered. Discrepancies can occur, especially on unique items that are not stocked in our warehouse. Though we do our best to make sure the products we offer are always available as well as making sure our availability information is correct, we occasionally do not have available particular items that indicate In-Stock availability. Our inventory status indicators are determined in real-time and are updated based on the known availability of specific items based on the last time we received updated warehouse or supplier information, which can vary. If an item you order is unavailable or backordered we will notify you via e-mail.

SHIPPING

Currently, Maui Kayak Shop is only shipping within GCC countries. Maui Kayak Shop is currently offering FREE Shipping and Handling on all orders over 1000AED within the UAE. Shipping costs are calculated during the checkout process. Fishing rod and any other oversize, bulky, and multiple package shipments may require additional charges. Most in-stock items are shipped the second business day. Tracking numbers and status are available shortly after shipping. 

METHOD OF PAYMENT

We also accept cash on delivery only. Credit Card payment will be added in the near future.

LIMITATIONS ON QUANTITY

We reserve the right to limit quantities on orders placed by the same account, on orders placed by the same credit card, and on orders that use the same billing or shipping address. We will notify you if such limits are applied. Maui Kayak Shop reserve the right to prohibit purchases of any merchandise to resellers. Resellers are defined as a company or an individual that purchases goods with the intention of selling them rather than using them.

WARRANTIES

The products on Maui Kayak Shop’ web site are provided “as is”. Maui Kayak Shop makes no warranties, expressed or implied, and hereby disclaims and negates all other warranties, including without limitation, implied warranties or conditions of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement of intellectual property or other violation of rights. Further, Maui Kayak Shop does not warrant or make any representations concerning the accuracy, likely results, or reliability of the use of the products on its web site or otherwise relating to such products or on any sites linked to this site.

• Any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with this website shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of UAE.
• United Arab of Emirates is our country of domicile.
• Minors under the age of 18 shall are prohibited to register as a User of this website and are not allowed to transact or use the website.
• If you make a payment for our products or services on our website, the details you are asked to submit will be provided directly to our payment provider via a secured connection. 
• The cardholder must retain a copy of transaction records and Merchant policies and rules.

KAYAK RENTALS

Although many of the items on this page will also appear in your Rental Agreement form, we want to make certain that all participants understand what they are getting into before they reserve a kayak or stand up paddleboard from us. More than anything else we want you to enjoy yourself out there and have a fun and rewarding experience! Thanks for choosing us!

By renting from us you are acknowledging that you have the appropriate level of skill, strength, and experience to participate in the activity that you have planned.

CANCELLATIONS

For Sea Kayaks

Full payment is due at the time of booking and no rental is secure without full payment. 15% cancellation fee if cancellation is made at least 2 weeks prior to rental reservation. No refunds available to cancellations within 2 weeks of rental reservation.

For Stand Up Paddleboards: Reservations must be canceled at least 48 hours in advance.

For Sit-On-Top Kayaks: We ask for 48 hours advance notice for cancellations of sit-on-top kayak reservations. *See additional notes below.

*For paddleboards and sit-on-top kayak rentals: your credit card is charged at the time of booking. Reservations may be rescheduled at no charge.

Maui Kayak Shop reserves the right to cancel or delay reservations without notice due to inclement weather conditions, impending weather forecasts, or other considerations. Cancellations made by us will be entitled to a full refund.

CARE OF EQUIPMENT

Equipment must be returned in good condition and reasonably clean. Repair and cleaning fees may be applied to damaged or severely soiled equipment, up to and including full replacement cost. Salty lifejackets and a little sand or gravel in the kayaks is not considered ‘severely soiled’. Muddy equipment or sunscreen stained lifejackets would be one example of severely soiled.

The Stand Up Paddleboards are durable but much more fragile than a kayak, large dents or cracks in the board can happen easily if you hit a rock or land on the beach while standing on them. Large dents and dings may be costly to repair and so care must be taken to avoid collisions. If you have questions about this then please do not hesitate to call. Thanks!

TELL US WHERE YOU GOING

It is extremely important to plan your kayak trip before you leave the shore. Inform us of your planned route in advance and if you run into problems and could not reach the shore on time, we will inform the authorities and take immediate action. 

ALCOHOL AND DRUG USE

Using alcohol or drugs (legal or illegal) while kayaking or paddleboarding in Dubai is a very bad idea that could easily lead to unexpected and problematic consequences. Maui Kayak Shop prohibits the use of drugs and alcohol while using our equipment. Renters and Lessees must agree to refrain from drinking and drug use prior to, or while using our equipment.

WHO GETS TO PADDLE/PEDAL THE RENTAL KAYAKS?

Only signatories on the Rental Agreement and signatories of the Release Form are allowed to utilize our kayaks or any of our rental gear. Signatories are responsible for any damage or loss to the equipment. Only people above the age of 18 will be allowed to rent kayaks.

REMEMBER

Sea kayaking can be a fun and rewarding way to enjoy your time in Dubai. However, the sea is a dynamic environment and unguided kayak rentals are not an appropriate choice for people without the necessary skills to take care of themselves and other members in their group. Sea kayaking can be an inherently dangerous activity, especially for the unprepared. Anyone who paddles on the waters of Dubai without the proper skills and knowledge (or without someone else who has that skill and knowledge) is taking a risk. Dubai sea is potentially dangerous due to many reasons. Hot temperatures, busy boat traffic, and exposure to the conditions of the bodies of water (including tidal currents, and strong winds) are only some of the hazards that you could be facing. It can be extremely difficult to re-enter a kayak in hot weather and turbulent water. By choosing to rent from us you are acknowledging that you have the competency to participate in this activity and to handle the kayaks and manage your group in the conditions and areas that you are paddling in.
